Great is Thy Faithfulness
Have you ever doubted God’s faithfulness? Have you ever wondered if God is with you and for you, or if God even notices you? We all have times and days when we wonder if God is with us and if God is truly good. Where is God in my sickness? Where was God when my loved one died? If God is for me, why is my life so hard? If you’ve ever felt this way or asked these questions, congratulations! You are human. It is actually quite normal for us to question a God whom we cannot see.
I recently had the joy of taking a vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks and to Branson, Missouri. Unlike vacations of years past, I did not have anything planned for this vacation other than a booked hotel room. Normally, I have an itinerary chock full of daily activities; it gives me something to look forward to. But this year, nothing! I made it up as I went. I stepped out in faith, trusting God to provide a refreshing vacation like He had in years past when things were planned. Guess what? God did!
Join me this Sunday, August 16, as I reflect on four themes that emerged from my recent summer vacation which inspired me deeply. It is my hope, they will inspire you too. Complete with pictures, stories, and biblical teaching, Sunday’s message will encourage you to become more aware of God in your midst, and all the many ways God is faithful – even in the unexpected little things. Please know that if God is faithful in the little things, God will also be faithful in the big things of your life.
Worship begins at 10:00 AM and includes a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Biblical readings will inspire. Prayers will help you connect with God. The message will refresh your soul. And, the Holy Spirit will be working and moving in our midst. A Children’s Church is provided for little ones. Men will gather for prayer. And, refreshments will be served for all following the service. Please reach out and invite someone you know. Let’s pack the house to the glory of God this Sunday!
