The Beauty of Purity

Remember the innocence of your childhood?  No cell phones, no computers, no internet, and for our older generation - no television!  Life seemed simpler back then.  Unfortunately, we can’t go back.  Nor, would many of us want to, if we’re honest.   The advances of modern technology have provided many blessings and benefits.  But something happens as we age.  We seem to lose a little of our innocence.  Modernity creeps in.  Sin enters the equation.  Purity gives way to secular forces.

Have you ever longed for a return to the purity and childlike innocence you once had?  The Good News is: You are not alone and you are not without hope!  Even great King David from the Bible felt the need to return to his childlike innocence and purity.  He had fallen hard into sin.  He committed adultery.  He committed murder.  He compromised his faith and life before God.  Then, he cries out to God: “Create in me a clean heart, O God!”  And guess what?  God hears and God grants his request!

There’s hope for you and me today too!  No matter how deeply you may have fallen.  No matter how far from purity you’ve wandered.  This Sunday, with background from 2 Samuel, we’ll consider practical postures we can take as individuals toward personal renewal and revival for Grace Church.  You too, like David, can return to a life of purity, peace, and power in the presence of God.  God is wanting and willing to forgive, heal, renew, and revive anyone and everyone who humbly turns to Him.

Worship begins at 10:00 AM.  The message will encourage you.  The worship will lift your soul.  Warm friends will greet you.  And the wonder-working power of the Holy Spirit will heal and revive those who hearts are open.  A Children’s Church will be provided during the service for children 3 years through 2nd grade.  Refreshments will also be provided for all following the service.  It’s going to be another Spirit-filled Sunday morning at Grace Church.  Please join us with your family and friends!
