Salt-Light Concert

It’s going to be another special Sunday at Grace Reformed Church, Waterloo!  The Easter celebration continues as we welcome the singing and musical talents of the local Christian worship group, Salt-Light, into our sanctuary and fellowship.  Salt-Light is a group of folks who love the Lord and have dedicated themselves to being the “salt of the earth” and “light of the world” just as Jesus has commanded of all his followers.  Their concert of praise and testimony is sure to lift the soul!

Salt-Light’s music is gospel-centered and contains both original songs and familiar favorites.  The concert includes moving praise, worship, sharing, and touching testimonies.  There is no fee, but free-will donations are encouraged and will be received.  Please come prepared to give a special offering just for the group.  This group comes to us highly recommended and with great reviews.  It’s been five years since they’ve joined us.  Invite your loved ones and friends.  Let’s pack the house!

Worship begins at 10:00 AM Sunday morning.  Please use the attached flyer to reach out and invite your family and friends.  Worship will be inspiring.  Warm friends will greet you.  Visitors will be welcomed.  And the Holy Spirit will be moving in our midst, touching lives and healing hearts.  There will be no Children’s Church this Sunday so everyone can enjoy the concert.  Refreshments will be served following worship in the Fellowship Hall for all.  Men will gather for prayer at 11:15 AM.

The Discovery Class also begins this Sunday.  We’ll meet in the education wing following worship from 11:15 AM to 12:00 noon.  Anyone who is considering membership is invited and welcome to attend.  The class also serves as a basis for youth people who want to profess their faith in Jesus publicly and become baptized.  This informal time of conversation is a great way to explore the blessings and benefits of membership.  All are invited.  All are welcome.  See you Sunday!
