A Beautiful Picture

Are you an artist?  Have you ever tried your hand at painting?  Some people I know, including right within Grace Church, have a marvelous talent for artistic painting.  Did you know that the Apostle Paul was a “painter” also?  Not literally, but figurately speaking.  In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul paints a beautiful picture of the Church of Jesus living out our calling to be diverse yet one.  Using color and metaphor, Paul details how churches can fulfill our baptism by living into the Spirit.

Perhaps you’ve been disappointed or disillusioned with the church.  Maybe the church did you wrong.  You felt shunned, judged, or unfairly treated.  It hurt.  It left a scar.  You have been avoiding the church and maybe even God ever since.  If so, this Sunday’s message, “The Radical Church,” is just for you!  We’ll discover three ways the church is meant to be a community of radical blessing and hope in today’s ruthless, cut-throat culture.  It’s a message of healing and hope.

Worship begins at 10:00 AM.  The message will challenge you.  Worship will inspire you.  Holy Communion will refresh you.  Friends will greet you.  Visitors will be welcome.  And, the presence of the Holy Spirit will bring you healing.  A nursery space and children’s church will be offered for kids.  Refreshments will be served for all following worship.  It’s going to be another Spirit-filled Sunday at Grace Church.  I trust you and your loved ones will be present.  Please invite your friends!
